The From the Anvil Deluxe Locking Monkeytail Window Fastener is a traditional style fastener inspired by 18th century design. It's made from solid brass and features a durable, safety-tested shank.

This style makes use of a rolling friction latch on the back of the bolt that allows for a simple locking mechanism, and the handles are nailed to the framing to hold the window securely in place.

Designed to fit casement windows and match the monkeytail window stays in the range.
The handle is hinged to ensure it can be lifted away from the window for ease of use.
The product is handed and therefore care needs to be taken when choosing the correct hand. From the inside view, if your window is hinged on the left then a left-hand fastener is required.
The fastener has a locking mechanism by way of a grub screw.
Suitable for use with weather-stripped windows.
Supplied with matching SS wood screws.
