Welcome to From the Anvil wide range of escutcheons, designed as a finishing touch for all locking doors and used to decorate key holes. These escutcheons are of the highest quality, made from solid brass and finished with a precision laser cut edge.

The Regency Escutcheon is designed to complement the Regency Lever, with the escutcheon fitted to the keyhole to create an attractive aesthetic for the door and to disguise the keyhole from view when not in use. This escutcheon is a curved design with a gently sloping lip, which compliments the angular shape of the From the Anvil lever beautifully.

The From the Anvil escutcheons complement all of their mortice knob and lever on rose designs.
This escutcheon uses a standard key hole so can be used with a multitude of locks.
Supplied with matching SS wood screws.

The From the Anvil black finish is a popular choice in traditional settings, it has a subtle sheen and offers a bold contrast on both stained and painted timber alike. It is baked in a high-temperature oven giving it durable corrosion resistant properties.

External beeswax is unique to From the Anvil and is manufactured from an anti-corrosive beeswax. It has a matt richness and like their standard beeswax, the depth of colour ranges from blue to deep red ochre. An extremely natural finish and a far softer alternative to a black powder coated finish.

The From the Anvil pewter patina finish is forged from a durable base of steel and is a fine example of how their unique manufacturing techniques add further detail to the natural charm of metals. The process by which the contrasting textures of this finish are created results in a rich appearance that sits well in characterful, rustic homes but also offers a contemporary alterative in more modern settings.
