Polished Brass Rim Lock & Cover

Rim locks are fitted to the surface of the door rather than being morticed in, along with a surface mounted keep that should be fitted to the door frame. Rim locks are generally easier to use and provide a more refined look to the door.

From the Anvil Polished Brass Rim Lock & Cover is a classic style rim lock. The polished brass finish gives it a more luxurious feel and is ideal for period properties. This classic design looks beautiful when fitted in an interior doorway or for an internal passage lock on an external door.

• Contains a 1 lever rim lock which is not insurance rated, use in conjunction with a british standard deadlock to comply with insurance regulations.
• Product is reversible so can be used on either the left or right hand side of your door.

Made from solid unlacquered brass, this finish is both classic and simplistic and offers great possibilities for stately and period dwellings alike, particularly where a very traditional look is desired. When fully polished this finish has a depth of reflection. However, as the product is unlacquered this can also be left to age naturally, which over time will create a beautifully historic finish.
